Our stay at Vincci The Mint was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. Traveling with two young children isn’t always easy, but the entire hotel team was incredibly patient, attentive, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. A special shoutout to Yanett from the reception team, who was the star of our stay. Yanett was not only helpful but genuinely cared about making our experience unforgettable. She suggested an upgrade to a Junior Suite at a discounted rate, ensuring we had more space and comfort for our family. This thoughtful gesture made a huge difference, allowing us to enjoy the extra room and relax during our visit. The Junior Suite was beautifully designed, spacious, and perfect for a family stay. Yanett’s kindness didn’t stop there – she was always available to assist with any requests, big or small. If you’re looking for a hotel in Madrid where the staff truly makes you feel like a valued guest, Vincci The Mint is the place to be. The service, was exceptional, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for families and anyone seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the city!

Great location in the center of the action on Gran Via, but peaceful and quiet inside. Deluxe double was a nice size room with a very comfortable bed, a huge shower, an enclosed balcony, air conditioning that worked, and comfortable armchairs to sit in. It also looked out on a small quiet street at the back of the building instead of busy Gran Via. Towels and sheets were nice quality. Rooftop bar was great, although food options were a bit limited and views were semi blocked by different structures. Never tried breakfast due to expense and availability of many other options nearby. Staff were universally helpful and friendly, even though we were pretty scruffy looking in our hiking clothes after having just finished the Camino; no stuck up attitudes at this city hotel. You feel like you’ve arrived at a fun place when the reception area is attached to the bar. The infused water and candy jar contribute to the sense of welcome. They did a great job renovating this historic property. There is a real sense of place here, as if you wouldn’t find this hotel anywhere else but Madrid.

The accommodations were very comfortable, the location is excellent, the entire hotel was exceptionally clean. What differentiates a very good experience from potentially a less than spectacular one is how a situation is handled when an issue arises. After an initial less than stellar experience with the person who checked me in, Paco the other person working the desk that morning, went above and beyond to turn my experience around. He sat me down, brought me cake and some orange juice, apologized for my previous experience and offered a solution that was much more than i would have expected. Later that day I spoke with the manager Cristina about my experience and she was also excellent. I loved my stay at this hotel and highly recommend them for your stay in madrid.

We chose a basic double size room for 5 nights(not deluxe or suite) and the room was a good size overlooking the Gran Via. The street outside was very noisy but with the window closed, the street noise was not noticeable (except the occasional siren). The bathroom and shower were excellent as was the king bed (two twins made up as one bed). There were nice amenities in the room and the lobby was a good place to to hang out. The roof deck had just opened for the season but we had multiple days of rain so we didn’t really get that experience. The location was excellent for walking to just about everything we did. The stand was very helpful and we would definitely return and recommend it.

Great location, central to everything. We walked mostly. However, the metro and bus lines are close-by. All the reception staff were really good, all nice, helpful, and also spoke excellent English for those of us who are language challenged a bonus! The decor was as you see in the photos. It looks really funky. Room was well cleaned and spacious for 2 adults and a teen, with 2 rooms, living area and separate bedroom. And the shower was also good, with strong pressure at all times. As it was around 40c the ac was also very good, which was quite a necessity. Would certainly recommend and be happy to return.
